Support
Email us. Bugs, billing, account deletion, language requests.
Email is the fastest way:
hi@sensay.meWe read every message. Most replies land within 24 hours during weekdays.
When you write in, it helps a lot to include your device model, OS version, App version (Settings → About), and a brief description of what you tried and what happened.
Frequently asked
Does sen-say read my messages?
On the free tier, no — all processing happens on your phone, and nothing leaves the device. On Plus and Premium, the message you ask us to analyze is sent to an LLM provider in real time and discarded after the response. We don't store message content, log it, or train on it. Full details on the Privacy page.
What's the difference between Free, Plus, and Premium?
Free runs entirely on-device — translation, decode, and basic reply coaching using a compact local model. Plus unlocks cloud-quality analysis: better tone reads, more nuanced replies, deeper thread audits, and Scam Shield. Premium adds priority access and the longest history windows. Each tier's exact features are listed in the App's paywall and on the home page.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iOS: open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find sen-say, tap Cancel. On Android: open the Play Store app, tap your profile photo → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, find sen-say, tap Cancel. We can't cancel from our side because Apple and Google manage the billing — we just receive the notification that you've cancelled.
How do I delete my account?
In the App: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account from our authentication and subscription systems. Cost-log entries (timestamps, token counts, no message content) are retained for accounting; they aren't linked to your identity after deletion. If you can't find the button or want us to do it on your behalf, email hi@sensay.me from your account address.
The Decode / Coach / Analyze answer feels off. What can I do?
AI is good but not infallible, especially for cross-cultural and emotional nuance — which is precisely the hardest territory and what sen-say is built for. If a specific output felt wrong, please send us the language pair, the situation (anonymized as you like), and what you expected. We use these reports to refine prompts and add eval cases. No personally identifying details required.
Which languages do you support?
At launch: English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Tagalog/Filipino. The Cultural Compass covers eight countries (Japan, Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, and an English-language baseline). More languages and countries roll out post-launch based on user requests.
Why is it called "sen-say"?
From "sensei" — the Japanese word for teacher or coach. The hyphenated spelling is a bilingual pun that works in both English (the app helps you say things) and Japanese (sensei). We're not a "rizz app" or a hype bro.
I'm a journalist / researcher / collaborator.
Same email: hi@sensay.me. Mention what you're working on. We're happy to talk about the cross-cultural messaging space, on-device LLM architecture, or the privacy story.
Status
If the App seems unresponsive, our backend may be having a moment. You can check the API liveness directly: /api/health. If that returns "ok" but the App still doesn't work, it's likely something on the App side — please write in.
